I am told by my cousin, Thomas Kennedy of Auldgirth, Dumfries, that Thomas Kennedy was a Glasgow merchant and was said to have been an importer of raw paper material. As well as being a merchant he was an insurance agent. Apart from the information shown on the chart, this is all that is known about him. Any further information gratefully received!
