There are three different possible names. In his writings, my grandfather Claud Leonard Broun gives his name as George in one place and James in another. However, on his marriage certificate his son, Robert Brown, is listed as Robert Brown junior, which would suggest that his name would have been Robert too. Nothing is known about him beyond this.
